"Looking for Wrestling in Roy
Area"
To whom it may concern,
My name is Catima Allred and I have a 10-year-old son
who went to a wrestling clinic given thru the local
jr. high. He LOVED it! And he is very interested in
trying to do it on more of a regular basis. We live in
West Point, UT, and don't know of anyone to contact to
help him, do you have any suggestions? If so, please
contact.

There is a freestyle and Greco-Roman program in the Roy
area, which won’t start till the spring. There might be a
folkstyle program in the fall there, but I’m not sure.
(Last year was the first year that I really noticed the
Roy program.) I would start by contacting Roy High School
and talking to the wrestling coach. He would know.
Further north, there are two programs, the stronger of
which is based in Weber High School. Dawn Malan is the
president of that program. Her e-mail address is

In the Layton area, there are programs, but not really
aimed at younger kids.
Sorry I’m not giving you more specific information, but
this can get you going.
