It kind of looks like your just doing part of the
state, but if you get near Clinton area I have a team
for you to watch: West Point Jr. High. I wrestled for
Clearfield back in 1986 and was so glad when my son
joined West Point's team this year. His first ever
wrestling.
I have been stunned at their performance! These
coaches do an amazing job with these boys! They are
completely undefeated this season in Varsity and I
think JV too. They only have one more match before the
North End next week. But yesterday they competed with
North Davis Jr. High and only ONE guy lost... out of
Varsity and JV and exhibition!!! I can't wrap my mind
around that, but it's great to be a part of.
I think they are teaching more than wrestling too:
They announced anyone who skipped a class would not
wrestle that week and would have to start at the
bottom the next week. They also announced anyone with
an F would not wrestle. I love it!
Well, if you are around tomorrow - March 26th, it's a
home meet at W. Point. It starts at 3:00 p.m.
