1. Rule Changes from USA Wrestling

   1. Westpoint (a.k.a. Crosschest Cradle)

      1. Now legal for Cadets and older

   2. New FILA Rules

      1. Will not be applied to Kids, Cadet and Junior levels in 2005 season

      2. Will be applied to international competition teams

2. New Business

   1. Flyweight Division

      1. Changed to athletes younger than Bantam

      2. Passed unanimously by General Membership

   2. USA Wrestling Coaches Card

      1. Cost increased by USA Wrestling

      2. Same cost increase passed along to coaches registering

      3. Passed unanimously by General Membership

   3. New USA Wrestling Utah Board Members

      1. Creation of Fundraising Director position

         1. Passed unanimously by General Membership

      2. Secretary

         1. Cole Kelley nominated and elected unanimously by General Membership

      3. State Cadet Director

         1. Brock Moore nominated and elected unanimously by General Membership

      4. Creation of State Media Director position

         1. Passed unanimously by General Membership

         2. Bill Kilpack nominated and elected unanimously by General Membership

      5. Change of Secretary/Treasurer position to Secretary

         1. Passed unanimously by General Membership

         2. Cole Kelley nominated and elected unanimously for Secretary by General Membership

      6. Change of Membership Director position to Treasurer/Membership Director

         1. Passed unanimously by General Membership

   4. Addition of Women's Division

      1. Creation of Women's Division at all USA Wrestling Utah events

         1. Mirrors Men's Division age groups and weights

      2. Female athletes have the option of enrolling in Men's Division or Women's Division

         1. Cannot enroll in both

      3. If there are not adequate matches in the Women's Division, the female athlete may move over to the corresponding Men's Division age and weight

   5. Tournament Weigh-Ins

      1. Established uniform weigh-in times for USA Wrestling Utah weigh-ins

         1. Friday weigh-ins 4–6 p.m.

         2. Saturday weigh-ins 6:30–8:30 a.m.

   6. Folkstyle USA Wrestling Utah Season

      1. Starting in Fall 2005, begin a USA Wrestling Utah folkstyle wrestling season that corresponds roughly with junior high and high school wrestling seasons

      2. Use standard USA Wrestling ages and weight divisions

      3. Use standard USA Wrestling freestyle/Greco-Roman pairing

      4. Requires USA Wrestling sanction, just as with the spring season

      5. Offer folkstyle wrestling opportunities for athletes Flyweight to Novice

      6. Older divisions will not be offered at these tournaments, to avoid weakening established junior high programs
